In Massachusetts your “household members” are referenced on both your car and home insurance, so understanding how these work is important.
On your car insurance it is pretty simple. All “household members” who are licensed should be listed on your car insurance policy. As the policy states “failure to list licensed household members may result in the denial of a claim”. Please keep in mind that these “household members” that have their own policies do not cost you any additional money to list! They just need to be listed as “deferred”.
