Turkey Talk and Life Insurance

Now that the turkey is done, our house guests have departed and only the piles of dirty laundry remain at our house we chat about all the funny conversations we had this Thanksgiving holiday.

Since our tables were pretty full and our ages ranged from 16 months to 1002 months, you can just imagine the wide variety of topics.

Usually the group stays away from all topics insurance but on this particular holiday a conversation about life insurance ensued.

This topic was a conversation with the twenty – thirty somethings. One person started off by saying, ‘why would I ever need that?’, and then a few others chimed in on their opinions.

What I loved about this conversation was that the participants seemed truly interested in hearing all perspectives on the topic. From the dog lovers with no kids and no debt, to the soon-to-be new parents with a mortgage, everyone had their own ideas on this topic.

We can’t know when we’ll pass away. It could be today, tomorrow or 50 years from now, but it will happen eventually. No amount of money could ever replace a person. But more than anything, life insurance can help provide protection for the uncertainties in life. Without a doubt, having life insurance coverage will bring you and your family peace of mind.
